This video captures the kind of love that we all hope for. As 93-year-old Laura lies in a hospital bed, moments from death, her husband, Howard, stands over her. And the two only have eyes for each other.

Howard and Laura had been married for 73 years. You can tell from the way they look at each other and whisper “I love you” to one another over and over again… This is a special love.

Someone puts on Alice Faye’s  “You’ll Never Know.” Their song.

Howard bends over Laura and spends his final moments with her singing their song. He gently strokes her face and starts to cry as he sings these words to his dying wife:

“You’ll never know just how much I miss you.
You’ll never know just how much I care.
And if I tried, I still couldn’t hide my love for you.
You ought to know, for haven’t I told you so
A million or more times?”

Even in this moment, Laura and Howard still have the humor that must have gotten them through 73 years of marriage: “Isn’t he sweet?” Laura laughs. “He likes me!”

The song ends and Howard bends over and gives her a kiss. “You’re mine,” he says. “You’re mine,” she says back.

Watch below and share this special moment of love.
