The human body is an amazing machine that needs to be looked after and treated with care. For this reason, it is very important to listen to what your body says and recognize the signals it might be sending you. Here are 10 signs you shouldn’t ignore, because they may be telling you that you are not as healthy as you think.

01: Gray hair before the age of 40..

Gray hairs are a natural phenomenon that often depends on genetics. But if you have more than 50 percent gray hair just after 30 years of life, and it doesn’t run in the family, it can be a sign of diabetes.

02: Birthmarks..

Although the majority of birthmarks on your body are harmless and benign, some can be quite dangerous, especially those that are incurred by sunbathing. Senile or actinic keratosis is formed by the sun and its UV rays and is considered as pre-cancerous changes to the skin.

03Changes in eyes color..

The sclera should be always white. Apart from lack of sleep or a cold, the changes in color to this part of the eye can detect some dangerous changes in your organism. A yellow sclera can be a sign of jaundice, liver and gall bladder problems. A red sclera may be a sign of high blood pressure or viral diseases such as conjunctivitis.

04: Chapped lips..

Nasty cracks in the lips can be caused by changes in temperature and wind. But cracks that occur often at the ends of the lips and inner sores can be a sign of a lack of vitamin B and zinc. If your lips are cracking often it may be a fungal infection.

05: Swollen neck..

If you notice that your neck looks swollen, seek medical advice as quickly as possible. Swelling in the front of the neck is usually caused by thyroid problems that are common in women between 20 and 50 years old.

06: Loss of eyebrows..

Our eyebrows become less thick over the years, but the sudden loss of eyebrows may be a sign of thyroid problems, hyperthyroidism (an overactive thyroid), or hypothyroidism (under active thyroid). These changes are accompanied by hair loss.

07: Red palms..

Incandescent and red palms can be a cause of dermatitis, eczema or allergic reactions to metals, drugs, food or drink. But equally, this change may be a sign of difficult labor, and liver disease.

08: Changes to the nails..

The nails can reveal a lot about the state of your body and the causes of changes may be different. See more here.

09: Cold Feet..

The feet are a part of the body that is farthest from the heart and therefore any vascular disease will first manifests on them.

Raynaud’s disease is an autoimmune disease that causes vessels tightening in the parts of the body such as hands and toes, nose and ears, which is why they become cold, pale or even numb.

10: Red cheeks..

Although the sudden change in face in women between 30 and 55 years of age is common and is caused by hormonal changes, rosy cheeks may point to rosacea – a chronic skin disease that affects mostly women, whose cause is unknown.
