shows just how this type of prejudice can occur on a daily basis, as well as
just how unfounded it is. While they shy away from the young man because of his
skin, his kindness is what’s responsible for their daughter’s continuing good
health.
It just goes to show that the content
of one’s character can never be measured by anyone who only looks skin-deep.
