US which has killed at
least 73 Syrians civilians, children are using the popularity of the
recently released pokemon go app to attract attention to their situation.

Some of the photo which were posted
by the Revolutionary Forces of Syria Media Office, are of children who are
posing with images of popular Pokémon characters, which bear heartbreaking
captions such as “Come save me.”
Since war broke out in Syria in 2011
it is thought that a
staggering 470,000 people have died with a further 1.5
million being wounded which works out to 11.5% of the Syrian
population being wounded or killed.
There
are currently 4.7 million refugees in neighboring countries and more
than 13.5 million who are still in need of assistance. There is no doubt that
what is going on in Syria is a massive crisis of which the magnitude is hard to
comprehend. At times like this I would encourage you to remain compassionate to
their circumstances and give in any way you can.
You can get involved by writing to
your local congress if you are in the US Do So Here or
there is a list of alternative organisations you can support HERE Much
love, Luke
