Ronaldo has caused some controversy on social media today by posting a photo of
himself resting his foot on a Buddhist statue.
The Real Madrid
forward thought he’d treat his 79.7 million Instagram followers to this picture
of himself perhaps trying to get in touch with his spiritual side.
Unfortunately,
it’s backfired massively as many people have left comments calling his pose
offensive for resting his foot on the religious symbol.
Preacted more
angrily, demanding that he take the photo down, but it’s still there after nine
hours.
